Ski season starts

13/12/2012

The snow that fell during the last 10 days created good conditions on most of the ski runs, so until the end of this week most of the Romanian winter resorts will open their ski season.

While resorts like Arena Platos, Azuga, Cavnic, Ranca, Semenic or Straja already opened some of their slopes last week-end, the resorts of Harghita-Bai, Poiana Brasov (Bradul), Predeal and Toplita opened their ski season in the last two or three days.

Today is the turn of Borsec, and Friday is the big day for Arieseni, Baisoara (Buscat), Muntele Mic, Piatra Neamt, Sovata, Suior, Sureanu and Vatra Dornei. Lastly, Gura Humorului and Harghita Madaras will open their ski runs on Saturday.

Follow our snow report closely, and you will know were is the better snow in Romania.
